چکیده

Abstract The radiation mechanism of Radio-Loud Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 (RL-NLS1) galaxies from X-ray to γ -ray bands remains an open question. While the leptonic model has been employed explain spectral energy distribution (SED), hadronic process may potentially account for high-energy some -ray-loud (NLS1) as well. We study one such RL-NLS1s, PKS 1502+036, comparing theoretical SEDs predicted by and lepto-hadronic observed one. For processes, we take into proton synchrotron proton–photon interactions (including Bethe–Heitler photopion process) including emission pairs generated in electromagnetic cascade initiated these processes. Our results show that can reproduce SED this source, which be interpreted inverse Compton scattering. On other hand, also component although extreme parameters are needed. demonstrate p well cannot SED. imply a origin is favored multiwavelength 1502+036.

X - ray variability of the Narrow Line Seyfert 1 Galaxy PKS 0558 − 504

We present results from several XMM-Newton observations of the radio loud Narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy (NLS1) PKS 0558-504. We find evidence for strong and persistent X-ray variability, both on short and long timescales. On short time scales of > ∼ 2 hours the source varies smoothly by 15−20%; long term variations by a factor > ∼ 2 could not be resolved in the relatively short exposures: we fin...

[ O III ] emission line in narrow - line Seyfert 1 galaxies

Three sets of two-component profiles are used to simultaneously model the [O III]λλ4959, 5007 and Hβ lines for the Fe II-subtracted spectra of 149 narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies (NLSls) from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). Using the linewidth of the narrow/core component of [O III]λ5007 to trace the stellar velocity dispersion instead of using the total linewidth of [O III]λ5007, we found ...

discovery of gamma - ray emission from a relativistic jet in the narrow - line Seyfert 1 quasar

We report the discovery by the Large Area Telescope (LAT) onboard the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope of high-energy gamma-ray emission from the peculiar quasar PMN J0948+0022 (z = 0.585± 0.001). Contrary to the expectations, the optical spectrum of this quasar shows only narrow lines [FWHM(Hβ) ∼ 1500 km/s] and the typical characteristics of narrow-line Seyfert 1 type galaxies. However, the str...

A Rapid X-ray Flare in the Radio-loud Narrow Line Quasar Pks 0558-504

We report the detection of a very short time scale flare in the radio-loud narrow line quasars PKS 0558-504 by using ASCA. The X-ray count rates increased and decreased by a factor of two in 33 minutes, and possibly by 40% in as short as two minutes during this flare, confirming that such flare event does occur in this object with imaging detectors. The implied largest rate of change in luminos...

On the origin of the X - ray emission from a narrow - line radioquasar at z > 1

We present new XM M − N ewton X-ray observations of the z = 1.246 narrow-line radioquasar RX J1011.2+5545 serendipitously discovered by ROSAT. The flat X-ray spectrum previously measured by ROSAT and ASCA is shown to be the result of a steep Γ ∼ 1.8 power law spectrum seen through a moderate intrinsic absorbing column (N H ∼ 4 × 10 21 cm −2). The position of the X-ray source is entirely coincid...
